Since 2003, the Zbigniew Raszewski Institute has been documenting, promoting, and animating the Polish theatrical life. The Institute manages the largest collection of various documents related to the theatre in Poland. It runs the portal e-teatr.pl – which is entirely devoted to the Polish theatre as well as the Internet “Encyclopedia of the Polish theatre” (www.encyklopediateatru.pl). Vistors have also acces to a library, a media library and a specialised bookshop. 
The Theatre Institute’s archive holds the largest collection of documentation on the contemporary Polish theatre. The archive offers an access to a huge collection of news articles, reviews, photos, theatre programs, playbills, posters, documents referring to the activities of individual scenes, private archives of artists and archives of various institutions. The whole collection – including the portfolios of newspaper clippings, related to the individual artists’ works, various editions of theatre and film festivals, theatre schools and theatre magazines – is available in the Archive’s reading room. 

The branch library in Király Street (in the 4^th district of Budapest) preserved the CDs of the popular music collection at Rottenbiller Street. On the Facebook page of the library, one finds more than 800 pictures of CD covers. The catalog of the CDs is available online.

Spolek byl založen dne 12. 3. 1968. Byl nezávislým sdružením studentů a absolventů Filozofické fakulty UJEP. Organizace to byla na svoji dobu neobvyklá, neboť byla zcela nezávislá na centrálně řízených masových mládežnických a studentských organizacích. Vzhledem k této skutečnosti a také proto, že byl tento spolek oficiálně povolen ze strany Jihomoravského KNV, stal se od druhé půle roku 1968 platformou dalších studentských organizací – stávkového výboru a od ledna 1969 také akčního výboru. Obě tyto součásti spolku měly celouniverzitní kompetenci. V této době se tedy Spolek posluchačů filozofie stává prostředím pro formulování svobodných názorů celé univerzity. Kromě iniciativy vyvíjené uvnitř univerzity pěstoval také kontakty k dalším vysokým školám v Československu i školám v zahraničí (např. Freie Universität v Západním Berlíně). Spolek se stal také iniciátorem vytvoření nové studentské organizace, a sice Moravského svazu vysokoškolského studentstva, který by vedle existujícího Českého a Slovenského svazu zohledňoval zájmy moravských univerzit a jejich studentů. Během své existence nepravidelně vydával časopis „Ruch“. S nastupující normalizací začátku 70. let se nezávislá a demokratická platforma spolku stávala pro komunistický režim stále větším problémem, načež byl spolek v roce 1970 rozpuštěn.
