Éva Kozma was born in Romania, and has lived and worked in Budapest since 2002. She graduated as a media artist in 2007 from the Intermedia Department of the Hungarian University of Fine Arts. She wrote her thesis on the topic of video and media art preservation, but began working at C³: Center for Culture & Communication Foundation in 2004 as the coordinator of the C³ archive during her studies. Under her leadership, the new C³ database was realized in 2013.
